 Alan Willingham Biography

Alan was born in Little Rock Arkansas in December of 1955, the first of two sons born to Oliver and Maxine Willingham. My  formative years were spent growing up in West Germany. Returning to the United States in the mid 1960’s, I lived in several states before our family settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After graduating from Widefield High School, I received several scholarships and attended college at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Graduating in May of 1978 I was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps.  During My career I made several deployments and saw combat in Lebanon in 1982. Serving in three Marine Divisions, I gained experience from the platoon level to serving on the staff of several general officers.  After many successful assignments I retired from Camp Pendleton California in June of 1998, attaining the rank of  Major. Upon retirement, I took a position as a licensed securities and insurance agent with First Command Financial Services. My duties included assessing financial portfolios and matching customer needs to appropriate investments. After three years in the financial world, I gained my real estate license and joined Century 21. After successful completion of Century 21 training, I honed my skills as an agent.

Currently, I'm serving clients in the role as a Direct Mail Business owner.located in Oceanside California. My  hobbies include flying small planes as well as camping and traveling.
