As of today, my relationship with SWVBRC began 8 days ago; and together with my wife Terri, whom is also a Veteran, accomplished orientation last Saturday, June 6th, the 55th anniversery of the D-Day landing. I wish to thank Jeff, Wes, Jaya, Philip, Francis, and Chris for being there to bear witness.
In order to stay true to the purpose of the SWVBRC's learning steps, I must first admit to the revelations necessary to commit to blogging, as I am one that has found that blogging about myself a bit unnatural, however, I'm always quite interested in learning anew, and realize any first step is necessary for every path traveled, without which, there will be no destination.
My membership with SWVBRC ocurred quite by happenstance, and I won't wear my wife's story out before she has the opportunity to tell her own version; but I can readily say the experience thus far has been thought provoking and insightfull, even though in general, I'm still unclear as to my own mission. I anticipate with great vigor, that is what I will be learning and able to pass along to others.
