    About ACP (and EBV):

American Corporate Partners is a nationwide mentoring program that matches employees from some of the nation's largest corporations and universities with OIF/OEF veterans for the purpose of mentoring, networking, and career counseling.  Transitioning from military service to the civilian sector can be difficult, but ACP is dedicated to helping veterans develop the valuable relationships, key skills, and action plans needed for success in private enterprise.

In 2010, ACP launched its Small Business Initiative which matches veteran entrepreneurs with small-business mentors. ACP and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) have worked closely to ensure that upon graduation from the ten-day-intensive, EBV graduates are matched in a one-year mentoring relationship, which builds upon their experience in the program.

Please contact Amanda Gustafson (agustafson@acp-usa.org) to further discuss ways in which your Biz Outreach Center can partner with ACP, so that together, we can make mentoring opportunities available to as many veterans as possible.

    Informational Email to Veterans:

    Dear Veterans,

I want to take a moment to let you know about a unique program that can assist veterans in advancing their civilian careers.

Our Corporate Partners and Universities include Bloomberg, Campbell Soup, Deloitte, Energy Future Holdings, General Dynamics, General Electric, Goldman Sachs, Harvard University, Home Depot, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Liberty Mutual, MacAndrews & Forbes, Morgan Stanley, News Corporation, Omnicom, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Siemens, The University of Oklahoma, The University of Texas, URS, and Verizon.

The cities where ACP is currently active are Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Raleigh/Durham, San Antonio, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.  For soldiers who live outside of these areas, we offer a robust e-mentoring program.

While not a "jobs program," ACP aims to strengthen the relationship between America's leading corporations and universities and those who have served our country.

To learn more about the program or to apply on-line, please visit www.acp-usa.org or contact American Corporate Partners at info@acp-usa.org.

DOD Welcome home-small.jpg A welcoming home for our Troops.

Welcoming home our men and women doesn't end after the crowd disperses, it MUST continue on for the life of the Veteran! They've served us, now we will serve them with programs that work so they reintegrate into society.

We are a national public benefit nonprofit organization that educates American Communities about best practices to serve Veterans.  We honor their service by empowering Veterans to apply their training and skills to successfully transition to productive careers and enterprises.

We provide free vocational training 24/7 to all of our members through our website, in addition to local events.  We believe the tenet that American Communities are the ultimate beneficiaries when Veterans claim their benefits and invest in productive endeavors.

The SWVBRC enlists the support of members of local Communities like you to increase Veteran awareness of the value of obtaining a VA card and receiving earned benefits.

Sponsorships, donations, volunteers and support from communities like yours enable us to reach out to Veterans and empower them to transition back into successful, productive enterprises that ultimately benefit all Americans and support future generations.

The Internal Revenue Service has determined that Southwest Veterans' Business Resource Center, Inc. is an organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. A donation to SWVBRC, Inc. is deductible to the extent permitted under law.
