What a wonderful article! Carol has acheived so much in her career---always putting the patient first & doing the job top notch!!! She has enriched my life by knowing her and all that she has accomplished---She should be a motivation to all of us. I can not believe the vitality she has (just like the energizer bunny!) She gets the job done right the first time--a characteristic of Carol that we all should try to achieve---the world would be a better place if we did. Her nursing alumni (Methodist in Omaha, Ne.) should be very proud to have trained such an excellent nurse--her ethics & integrity should be something that all medical professional or any field of work should try to achieve. Carol is making the world a better place to be---may we all follow her lead!!

Sherry. Thank you so very much for your very special comment regarding my career. I expect to pass through this life but once. If therefore there be any kindness I can show or any good thing I can do to any fellow-being let me do it now and not deter or negect it, as I shall not pass this way again. (William Penn) You went the extra mile to post a message on this website. For that I am extremely grateful. Again Thank You.
      Hugs and Love. Carol

DOD Welcome home-small.jpg A welcoming home for our Troops.

Welcoming home our men and women doesn't end after the crowd disperses, it MUST continue on for the life of the Veteran! They've served us, now we will serve them with programs that work so they reintegrate into society.

We are a national public benefit nonprofit organization that educates American Communities about best practices to serve Veterans.  We honor their service by empowering Veterans to apply their training and skills to successfully transition to productive careers and enterprises.

We provide free vocational training 24/7 to all of our members through our website, in addition to local events.  We believe the tenet that American Communities are the ultimate beneficiaries when Veterans claim their benefits and invest in productive endeavors.

The SWVBRC enlists the support of members of local Communities like you to increase Veteran awareness of the value of obtaining a VA card and receiving earned benefits.

Sponsorships, donations, volunteers and support from communities like yours enable us to reach out to Veterans and empower them to transition back into successful, productive enterprises that ultimately benefit all Americans and support future generations.
