    SAIC Opportunity, San Diego, CA, Energy Engineer/Analyst Job
    Reference: 147065
    Description: SAIC, seeks an Energy Engineer or Analyst to support the
    Environmental, Energy and Infrastructure (E2I) Business Unit. The
    selected person will lead or support tasks in energy, economic and
    operating analysis of building and process energy systems, evaluation
    of energy efficiency improvements in buildings and at the program
    level, building energy simulations modeling, building energy
    efficiency evaluation, energy auditing, technical reporting, and
    regular client communications.

    The successful candidate should have experience/knowledge of the
    following:
    •        Experience with specifying and utilizing data acquisition
    systems including programming, data analysis techniques and report
    generation
    •        Experience and working knowledge of utility tariffs and
    applying this knowledge to analyze energy cost impacts of various
    end-use technologies
    •        Building energy systems should also include building control
    systems (system types, sequence of operation, trend logging
    capabilities, interoperability, and communication protocols)
    •        Knowledge of the California energy environment including
    electric structure, utility programs, third party programs, CPUC and
    CEC.
    •        Expertise in air handling systems and their operation (VAV,
    dual duct, multi-zone, built-up systems, VFD applications, etc.)
    •        Expertise in Central Plant systems and their operation
    (chillers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, primary/secondary configurations,
    TES, CHP, cooling towers, compressed air systems, etc.)
    Requirement:
    •        Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a building related
    science.
    •        Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience.
    •        Excellent written and verbal communications are essential.

    Opportunity, Tustin, CA, Project Engineer
    Job Description: Provide project engineering support for a Military
    Contract Manufacturing Company with $20M in annual revenues.
    Job Requirements:  Undergraduate Engineering Degree; cost estimating
    experience a plus but not necessary.  Goal oriented with the ability
    to work autonomously to meet tight deadlines.  Excellent
    communication skills are necessary, including the ability to write
    technical documents.  Computer skills: proficient with MS Office,
    familiarity with ProE a plus.
    General Responsibilities:
    •        Ability to read engineering drawings and establish a Build
    of Materials for new projects.
    •        Cost Estimating for new engineering projects with the end
    goal of submitting competitive and profitable contract bids.
    o        Find suppliers and obtain quotes for all items in Build of
    Materials. 
    o        Compile cost estimating report and provide final selling
    price.
    •        Request Technical Data Packages, fill out necessary
    paperwork, receive TDP, and organize TDP.
    •        Manage solicitation process to ensure PhD Engineering Team
    provides necessary due diligence to submit contract proposal on time.
    •        Monitor contracting center websites for business
    opportunities.
    •        Research item history, including pricing, past contracts,
    and vendor information.
    Ideal candidate would be a Junior Officer with an Engineering Degree.
