    Computer Support Specialist (Colorado)(S)

    Computer Support Specialist (CO)
    NEK Advanced Securities Group, Inc. is currently accepting
    applications for a Computer Support Specialist to work in Colorado
    Springs, CO.  Duties will include: answer all basic trouble
    calls/emails and enter work orders into our tracking software;
    install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software and
    peripheral equipment, following design or installation
    specifications; oversee the daily performance of computer systems;
    create network and email accounts for new users; set up equipment for
    employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable,
    operating systems and appropriate software; maintain record of daily
    data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken,
    and installation activities; read technical manuals, confer with
    users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve
    problems and to provide technical assistance and support; confer with
    staff, users and management to establish requirements for new systems
    or modifications; develop training materials and procedures, and/or
    train users in the proper use of hardware and software; refer major
    hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or
    technicians for service; prepare evaluations of software or hardware,
    and recommend improvements or upgrades; read trade magazines and
    technical manuals, and attend conferences and seminars to maintain
    knowledge of hardware and software; modify and customize commercial
    programs for internal needs; answer users' inquiries regarding
    computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems; enter
    commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations
    and detect errors; participates in the inventory management of
    software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.  Travel
    to remote locations is required approximately 10% of the time.

    Qualified candidates should have 5 years of previous IT experience
    and an Associate's degree in a related field.  This position also
    requires a Secret level security clearance or the ability to obtain
    and maintain one.  2+ years experience with SharePoint and SQL
    required. This is a full time position with an excellent benefits

    Parachute Rigger (S)

    Parachute Rigger:
    NEK is accepting applications for a Parachute Rigger for an upcoming
    contract. The Parachute Riggerwill ensure that assembly, rigging,
    inspection, packing, vacuum sealing, and final closing of parachute
    systems conforms to all ISO, safety, and government regulatory
    requirements.  He will maintain, inventory, inspect and repair all
    assets associated with the air deployable package (s).
    The Parachute Rigger will be responsible for all aspects of the
    parachute, rigging, safety, and regulation as they relate to the
    parachute and drop evolutions.  He will also be responsible for
    maintaining the inventory, repair and maintenance of the equipment
    associated with the air loft.
    Specific:
    •   Works in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety rules
    •   Performs self-inspection to ensure product meets requirements as
    noted in drawing and route card work instructions
    •   Assembles, rigs, inspects, packs, vacuum seals, and final closes
    parachute systems.
    •   Maintains forms/documentation and government regulatory
    documentation as required.
    •   Responsible to inspect and pack various life support equipment
    including survival kit bag and parachute hardware.
    •   Performs verification inspections.
    •   Performs both major and minor repairs on parachute systems to
    include the use of machines and tools for fabrication, modification
    and repair to parachute and other airdrop equipment.
    •   Train personnel as required for assembly, rigging, inspection,
    packing, vacuum sealing, and final closing of parachute systems.
    •   Assists with workload planning and materials request.
    •   Inventory, clean, receive, store, and issue all airdrop equipment
    used in airdrop operations
    •   Assemble airdrop platform, cushioning materials, cargo,
    extraction and personnel parachute along with other airdrop related
    equipment
    •   Inspect, test and install extraction and release systems
    •   Perform technical, routine, and in-storage rigger-type inspection
    on cargo, extraction, and personnel parachute as well as other
    airdrop equipment before, during and after each use.
    •   Pack cargo, extraction, and personnel parachutes
    •   Load, position, and secure supplies and equipment within the
    aircraft
    •   Inspect airdrop equipment before, during and after drops
    •   Responsible for repairing of textile and canvas item, webbed
    equipment and clothing associated with parachute and/or drop
    operations
    •   Dispose of unserviceable airdrop equipment as per regulations
    •   Conduct sampling and quality assurance technical inspection
    Minimum qualifications:
    •Licensed FAA Rigger.
    •Note: FAA Master Rigger Certification is desired but not required.
    •Completion of High School or equivalent.
    •Effective English comprehension and communication skills.
    •Ability to interpret technical data.
    •Knowledge of sewing machines and hand tools.
    •Minimum three (3) years military or (5) years' civilian experience
    as a certified rigger.
    •Experience with the MMPS (Multi Mission Parachute System) and
    associated equipment.
    •A current SECRET clearance
    •A valid state motor vehicle operators permit
    •U.S. citizen
    •A current U.S. Passport
    •Experience with night vision devices
    •Demonstrated ability to operate independently as well a part of a
    team
    •Skill in effective oral communication
    •Skill in effective written communication
    •Knowledge the rules and regulation associated with Parachute and
    drop zone operations.
    •Familiar with communication equipment and procedures associated with
    drop zone safety.
    •Extensive experience with military tactics to include but not
    limited to patrolling, land navigation, fire support, aircraft
    employment, day/night operations, coordination and planning.
    •Ability to swim

    NEK is seeking qualified individuals to provide instruction in basic,
    high-risk Level C SERE tactics, techniques and procedures in support
    of a customer in San Diego, CA.Qualified individuals will have
    extensive Air Force/Army/Navy/Marine and/or SOF operational
    experience to include at least 4 years of military service in Air
    Force/Army Navy/Marine units, active duty operational experience in
    support of OEF or OIF, as well as an active Secret clearance with the
    ability to upgrade to a Top Secret clearance.  Individuals need to be
    instructor qualified and will be cognizant of the most recent
    regulations and doctrine governing Peacetime Government
    Detention/Hostage Detention training and SERE Level C Code of Conduct
    training from a Joint Personnel Recovery Agency approved POI as well
    as validating new PGD/HD requirements.

    Helicopter/Aircraft Logistics Technician - International.  We are
    currently in need of logistical technicians looking for stand by
    short term positions to perform tasks associated with UH-60L
    maintenance in accordance with US  Army Technical Manuals.
    These assignments will occur on an as needed basis and will involve
    travel to locations worldwide. Most assignments will last 1-4 months
