    1.  CACI Opportunity, Mechanicsburg, PA, Senior Project Manager, NAVSUP ERP JR 42992

    Position Summary

    CACI has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager, NAVSUP ERP to support the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) in Mechanicsburg, PA.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    ·        Report as required to the NAVSUP ERP Program Director, the AIT Program lead, or the NAVSISA Surge lead on all matters relating to those contracts.

    ·        Recruit and hire staff to support multiple contracts in Mechanicsburg.

    ·        Coordinate personnel activities and interaction across multiple task orders.

    ·        Develop budget and resource exhibits to support contract execution.

    ·        Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractor issues and resolution.

    ·        Serve as the CACI ISO 9001:2008 Program Sponsor.

    ·        Work with CACI leadership for business development and growth in the Mechanicsburg area.

    ·        Manage timecard reviews and approvals (daily).

    ·        Review and approve all travel and miscellaneous expense report transactions for all CACI personnel.

    ·        Complete annual contractor personnel performance appraisals.

    Required Qualifications:

    Typically requires bachelors degree or equivalent (master's degree preferred in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field) and twelve to fifteen years of related experience. This experience must include:

    ·        10 or more years of experience working in Navy Logistics programs management.

    ·        Extensive communications and writing experience.

    ·        The ability to effectively and tactfully manage complex interactions and relationships between diverse staff members. 

    ·        The majority of the issues and workload managed by the person in this position must be kept confidential so discretion is a must.      

    ·        Experience in personnel management. 

    ·        Experience working with MS Office software (MS Word and Excel) as well as MS Outlook and Lotus Notes.

    Desired Qualifications:

    ·        Familiarity with the NAVSUP ERP SSS Release 1.1 strategy and architecture would be helpful.  

    ·        PMP certification strongly desired. 

    ·        Experience with Navy supply and logistics systems is also desired.

    A.  Software Development Network Engineer, Eatontown, NJ.

     Job Description:

     

    Seeking an experienced Software Development Network Engineer/Programmer interested in working in a challenging, hands-on environment supporting the Department of Defense and other specialized customers in the Central New Jersey, and Aberdeen, MD areas.

     

    The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing software code and have a solid understanding of networking and network management (planning, monitoring, operating, and defending) in stressful environments such as those encountered in tactical military situations and be capable of writing and integrating software code to support the same.  Coding and programming experience must include C, C++, Java, Python and Bash.  The ideal candidate will also be capable of mentoring more junior engineers in this arena.

     

    Candidate will develop software code, algorithms and programs to support an experienced team engaged in the design, development, testing and evaluation of integrated network management and network operations solutions.  Knowledge of Military Tactical networks, (both mobile and static) as well as working knowledge of network management and security implications is required.

      

    Duties include: 

    ·        Extensive software coding/programming in a Laboratory environment

    ·        Evaluation and analysis of software code written by outside vendors

    ·        Modification and adaptation of existing software algorithms

    ·        Assistance in laboratory demonstrations demonstration of new NETOPS approaches and capabilities

    ·        Assessment of proposed solutions in a system of systems environment to include impact on network and application layer efficiencies

    ·        Training and mentoring junior engineers in coding techniques  

    This position will be moving to Aberdeen, MD, in the 2011 timeframe.

     Job Requirements:  

    ·        Bachelor’s Degree and/or Advanced degree in Software/Computer Engineering or Computer Science

    ·        Proven track record in programming and developing supporting code.

    ·        Experience with C, C++, Java, Python and Bash Programming Languages.

     Candidate must have an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance, or must be U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
