We are looking for a few GREAT men (or women) now!  We are heavy construction contractors since 1993 specializing in wildlife habitat, wetland enhancement and watershed restoration.  Our region spans OR, WA, CA, ID, SD.  We have a core of great folks that travel with us and then we hire locally as per restoration contract area.

We are not building freeways- we are building our future wetlands, clean water and habitats for tomorrow- BUT- we are heavy construction so SAFETY is the key! Goals are exceeded weekly and Excellence is preformed everyday!

CAN YOU TRAVEL?  We typically work 4/10.  Most crew stay in base camp, trailer park, rented crew cabin or hotels near by. 

WE PAY PREVAILING and/or DAVIS BACON WAGES by ACH deposit every 2 weeks plus we pay Fringe benefits as hourly wage for Health & Welfare & Travel Per Diem.

PROJECT LOCATION NOW- located Tule Lake California for 3 months.  Wages range $27-$60 per hour depending on classification. 

As you all know- piles of resumes come into our office due to "climate today".  I am TIRED of looking at the same old thing! I do not want to hire another Superman/Wonder Woman who can't even show up on time or prepared, has 4 kids in different states and has pour performance on Monday because they got trashed all weekend- PLUS- can not even operate as they presented themselves in the first place!
We are proud of how YOU have served our country.  We are SICK of hiring shmucks on unemployment that have NOT.

We are NOT in a bad way- the economy is NOT slowing us down and if you are a POSITIVE FORWARD THINKING GOAL ORIENTED SELF STARTER that has at least SOME experience - running dozer, loaders, excavators, truck drivers, graders then YOU BELONG ON THE LKE CORP TEAM!

STRAIGHT UP: Just like the tight bonds that you have experienced- we form the same band.  Sometimes the new member thinks it's pretty tough to get into the circle.  Maybe- but the rewards our quite fulfilling and the sense of major accomplishments and pride is definitely shared.

We expect TRUTH. ( Don't lead us to believe ANYTHING- ask questions- we are VERY HAPPY TO TRAIN AND WORK WITH YOU!)

We expect DEDICATION. ( Be prepared, don't let the team down- be committed to growing with us and learning new things. Every contract is very different so we are never in a rut! Stick it out when we are in a ditch- because the next one is on the mountain!)

We expect STEWARDSHIP (represent our team well, clean and professional at all times- help keep equipments CLEAN like a fine 1968 Mustang- take great PRIDE in even the crew jeep).

For you: in reading our website- do not think we are "eco freaks" "green freaks"- not even the case Jack/Jill!  Most have logging in our family backrounds and we proudly transitioned to restoration from our fathers before. Our fathers and grandfathers were Veterans.  Yes we are ENVIRONMENTAL contractors- we are also hunters and fishermen and proud CONSERVATIONISTS. We are well rounded by strong core conservative values with evironmentally sensitive overtones and open minded learning and innovation.
