Training Development Specialist

Responsibilities of the Position:
The employee will provide support to the Marine Corps Engineer
School’s Engineer Center of Excellence (MCECOE). Duties will include
but not be limited to the following: Participate as core member of
Mobile Training Team and Train The Trainer Program, instruct large
groups of personnel at home stations and abroad on concepts, tactics
techniques and procedures in support of Counter-Improvised Explosive
Devices (Counter-IED), i.e. Markers and Indicators, Operating Counter
Radio-Controlled Electronic Warfare (CREW) Systems, Staff Planning in
accordance with established Master Lesson Files; Assist with the
conduct of Front End Analysis and Learning Analysis in accordance
with Systems Approach to Training (SAT); Assist in the development of
Improvised Explosive Device Defeat (IED-D) Program Of Instruction
supporting documentation, i.e. Terminal and Enabling Learning
Objectives and Performance Steps; Format POIs supporting
documentation in accordance with Marine Corps Training Instruction
Management System (MCTIMS); Support and provide input to local
Lessons Learned /TTP Data Repository cataloging relevant after action
reports, briefs and onsite interviews as reference material to
support continued courseware development; As required, represent
MCETECOE at IED-D forums, i.e. Working Groups (WGs), Integrated
Product Team (IPTs), conferences, video teleconferences; develop and
administer exit surveys, instruction assessment forms and practical
exams; participate in quarterly courseware evaluations of IED-D POIs.
Extensive travel is anticipated with this position both within and
outside the Continental United States.
Education/Experience Requirement:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in an
appropriate discipline and/or 5+ years of progressive military
academic, training and education experience with Marine Corps C4I
systems. Or an Associates Degree from an accredited institution
and/or 7+ years of progressive military academic, training and
education experience with Marine Corps C4I systems. Or high school
diploma/GED and 10+ years of progressive military academic, training
and education experience with Marine Corps C4I systems.
Must have at least five years of progressive military academic,
training and education experience with Marine Corps C4I systems.
Functional knowledge of C-IED measures; Systems Approach to Training
(SAT) process and supporting analyzes and methodologies. Must have a
working knowledge of Marine Corps Training Instruction management
System (MCTIMS), certified instructors preferred; in lieu of
certified instructor credentials, candidate must have 5+ years of
experience in military instruction. Must be proficient with the
following Microsoft (MS) Office Applications: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS
Excel, and Power Point. Candidates selected will be subject to a
government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information. Extensive travel
is anticipated with this position both in and outside the Continental
United States. Must possess exceptionally well-developed
communication skills; ability to speak/instruct in front of large

Primary Responsibilities:
