[Edited to read] Swirling the Drain - Been there done that - Got through it.  Because evidently, I'm still not "over it".

    Would you care to let me know what the heck you are talking about? I guess I'm dense because I certainly don't understand what "Swirling the Drain" means.

      Carol, I think I was dwelling some things that had a negative effect on my life (from more than a decade ago). These were the darkest days of my life, I was in a tailspin and didn't know it. Fortunately, I had great people around me that kept me (somewhat) in step and moving forward. I still have a significant amount of hate for a few select individuals that kicked me while I was down, and I have a box of papers that (in my eyes) proves them wrong. Everytime I pull it off the shelf, the old bad memories surface.

      I might get around to putting those words on paper, or I might start a fire in my fire pit and spend an evening sipping adult beverages and burning the box of "evidence".

        Ms Carol, I finally took care of my box of "evidence"... I spent a couple of hours polluting the air, sipping my beverage and burning ( most ) of my angst. RIP lady.
